Two Australians win at World Quilt Competition XV 2011

Congratulations to 2 Australian quilters who have won prizes in the World Quilt Competition XV.

The Beauty of Life 2 by Julie Haddrick was awarded the Best of Country award for Australia.

Travels by Marlene King was awarded a second in the Innovative category and Viewers' Choice.

The quilts will also be displayed at the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza in Oaks Pennsylvania in September, the Pacific International Quilt Festival Santa Clara California in October and at the World Quilt Show Florida November.
