wet/dryAustralia is a land of extremes & in the northern parts there are two distinct seasons - one is known as the Wet & the other is the Dry. During the Wet thunderstorms brew, lightning rips through the sky & the dark clouds dump their rain on a parched earth renewing life with water. The Dry season follows & rivers creeks & waterholes evaporate. The earth shrinks & cracks appear in the ground- some are shallow while others deepen over the following months until the coming of the Wet once more. It is an endless cycle.
