Sentinels

The dry, cracked skin of inland Australia is harshly beautiful & punctuating the vast expanses are anthills, silent sentinels guarding their domain. This is my tribute to them. Widely recognized through Northern & inland areas of Australia they have gained an iconic status.

What draws me to them? Shape, size & realisation of the life force of the army of termites working as a harmonious colony to achieve big results that withstand the ravages of time.
