84cm W x 139cm L [33in W x 55in L] The Wet/Dry series quilts begin with a whole cloth base [hand dyed for The Wet/Dry # 1 © 2003] that is enhanced by surface design techniques of printing, direct machine applique, machine quilting & machine created fabric. The strong colour contrasts are characteristic of Sue’s work. The Wet/Dry # 1 © 2003, created in 2003 was part of an international touring exhibition Organic, curated by Dijanne Cevaal. |
