Workshop Essentials for Organisers

Sue is available for workshops during the week or on weekends with a minimum of 8 students to a maximum of 20 students. Workshops usually run for 6 hours. Please ask students to arrive 30 minutes before class to unpack & settle in. Morning tea & lunch breaks are built into the workshop day.

Please ensure there are enough tables for sewing, cutting & messy stuff for all to be comfortable. Good lighting is required & power extension leads are to be taped down. If irons & boards are required it will be noted on individual requirement sheets.

Design walls for pinning or taping Sue’s samples to, a table for a sewing demonstration & a whiteboard or flip chart are essential. Design walls also for students work are appreciated.

LEAF IT ALONE materials fee covers the use of paint supplied
MONOPRINTNG MAGIC materials fee covers the print surface supplied

Water access is needed forLEAF IT ALONE & MONOPRINTING MAGIC. These work tables need to be covered in plastic or newspaper.

Teaching & lecture fees – on application. If cancelling a workshop please notify Sue three months in advance. Please supply a contract or tutor will be happy to provide one.

Organisers are to pay a return trip airfare & cab or shuttle fare to & from airport to tutor’s home or airport parking fees. Any excess baggage charge is to be reimbursed at the conclusion of the engagement. When driving her car Sue’s transport costs for the return journey will be calculated per kilometre.

All room & meal expenses are to be paid or reimbursed by the organisers. Sue prefers non-smoking hotel accommodation however at her discretion home accommodation with private room & en-suite bathroom will be considered. No special dietary requirements apart from chilli intolerance.
